Redevelopment of Maharashtra Nature Park
Enhancing users experience and interaction with nature.
Maharashtra Nature Park was the brain child of Shanta Chatterji, a corporate lawyer.
It was a garbage dumping ground earlier. She witnessed a variety of birds on the banks of mithi river. seeing it as an oppourtunity to develop wetlands of mithi river, MNP was born. In 1992 it was opened for students to study the vast variety of birds, plants, insectsand reptiles that MNP inhabits.
Presently MNP is loosing it's purpose.
The Aim of the project is to expand the biodiversity, along with enhancing th evisitors experience and interaction with nature.
